If you notice the shortcuts below, you will see that there are two types of separators:

Plus (+) separator: Press all keys together simultaneously.
Example:

Ctrl +

means press and hold both Ctrl and N at the same time.

Comma (,) separator: Press each key one after the other.
Example:

Alt, H,
                                            B, A

means press Alt, then H, then B, then A in sequence.
