Page Layout Tab
The Page Layout Tab helps you control the appearance and set up the print area to be printed in your worksheets ensuring your data looks clear and professional both on your screen and on paper when printed.

Themes
Apply consistent formatting across your entire workbook changing the look and feel as per your need.
- Themes: Choose the built-in themes to apply a consistent set of fonts, colors and effects as well throughout your workbook to give a professional look.
- Colors, Fonts, and Effects: Change the colors, fonts and effects within a theme to match your brand colors or personal style.
Page Setup
Manage how your worksheet is to be printed including page size, margins and orientation.
- Margins (Alt, P, M): Adjust the space between your content and the paper’s edge by setting custom margins or predefined settings in your Excel workbook to fit more content on one page.
- Orientation (Alt, P, O): Toggle between Portrait and Landscape page orientation (vertical or horizontal).
- Size (Alt, P, S, Z): Select the pre-defined paper sizes such as A4, a4 or Letter or set a custom paper size to ensure your worksheet fits properly while printing the document.
- Print Area (Alt, P, R): Set the range of cells of your worksheet to print.
- Breaks (Alt + P, B): Add page breaks which will give you control over where new pages to start when printing.
- Background (Alt, P, G): Add a background image to your worksheet for branding purposes. Note that the background image will not be printed on the paper.
- Print Titles (Alt, P, I): Repeat the specific rows and columns on each printed page making it easier to read.
Scale to Fit
Ensures your worksheet fits within a set number of pages during the printing of the document.
- Width & Height (Alt, P, W and Alt, P, H): Automatically scale your worksheet to fit in a specified number of pages.
- Scale (Alt, P, X): Manually adjust the scaling to ensure the content fits as needed during printing.
Sheet Options
Control the visibility of gridlines and headings on your screen and during print.
- Gridlines (Alt, P, V, G): Toggle the visibility of gridlines for data entry guidance or to hide them during the printing of documents.
- Headings (Alt, P, V, H): Toggle the visibility of headings (rows and columns headings) for easier reference during the printing of documents.

Arrange
Provides tools to organize objects like images, shapes, charts etc. in your worksheet.
- Bring Forward / Send Backward (Alt, P, A, F and Alt, P, A, E): Adjust the layering of objects by bringing them front or sending them back or other elements.
- Selection Pane (Alt, P, A, P): Opens a selection pane in your worksheet to manage the visibility of objects and also order them.
- Align (Alt, P, A, A): Align the multiple objects in your worksheet towards the right, centre or left to organize content neatly.
- Group (Alt, P, A, G): Group or ungroup multiple objects together so they can be moved or formatted as a single unit.
- Rotate (Alt, P, A, Y): Rotate the objects to a desired angle based on your need for better visual appeal.
